Acceptable Use Policy

1.Who this applies to

Everyone with a Blank account, and every site published with Blank — on our sites domain or on a custom domain. It is part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for your own use and for what your published sites contain, including content your sites’ visitors submit.

2.Using the builder

Do not:

• use the build engine, its web reading or its integrations to scan, attack, overload or break into any system, including ours;
• try to reach other users’ projects or data, get around the separation between generated sites and the app, or probe our infrastructure without permission — report a vulnerability through the contact form instead, and we will not pursue good-faith research;
• get around metering, rate limits or plan limits — for example with several free accounts, or by automating the product in ways it does not offer;
• resell or share access to your account, or use it to run a competing service;
• use the product to generate content designed to deceive people about who made it, where that deception is unlawful or harmful.

3.What published sites may not contain

A site hosted by Blank must not:

• impersonate a person, company, bank, government body or brand, or collect passwords, card details or one-time codes under false pretences (phishing);
• distribute malware, or try to exploit its visitors’ browsers or devices;
• run fraud or scams — fake shops, fabricated reviews or credentials, investment or lottery schemes, fake job offers;
• contain child sexual abuse material or anything that sexualises minors; we remove it and report it to the authorities;
• contain intimate images of anyone without their consent, or sexually explicit material shown to people who have not chosen to see it;
• infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights — see Copyright and Takedown;
• harass, threaten or incite violence against any person or group, or promote hatred on grounds such as religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation;
• sell or promote illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons or gambling that is unlawful where it is offered;
• publish other people’s personal data without a lawful basis, or collect visitors’ data without telling them;
• spread misinformation that is patently false and likely to cause harm, or content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with other countries;
• break any other law that applies in India or where the site is aimed.

Do not use Blank hosting as a file host, a mirror, or to send spam or unsolicited messages.

4.What we do about a breach

Depending on how serious it is, we may ask you to fix it, unpublish a site, remove content, suspend a project or suspend the account. A suspension deletes nothing and can be reversed; we record why, and tell you unless the law stops us. Clear cases of phishing, malware or child sexual abuse material are taken down immediately and without notice.

We act on reports, on legal orders, and on what we find ourselves. We do not read your private projects looking for breaches; operator access to a conversation needs a stated reason and is logged (see the Privacy Policy).

5.Reporting a site

Email [email protected]with the site’s address and what is wrong with it, or follow the grievance or copyright procedure. Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery are acted on within 24 hours.
